Welcome to The Multicultural Club -- named after the original Culture Club fan club from the 1980s, and resurrected here as my personal shrine to all things Boy George, Mikey Craig, Roy Hay, and Jon Moss.
This space is for the memories, the messiness, the makeup, and the music. It's for the stories behind the songs. It's for the queers, the weirdos, the romantics, the rebels. It's for anyone who ever felt seen when George sang.
Here you'll find:
This isn't a sanitized museum -- it's a scrapbook. A fan diary. A messy altar built from VHS tapes, eyeliner pencils, cassette singles, broken hearts, and hope. And yes, I still believe one day we'll have George, Jon, Mikey, and Roy back together and Culture Club will be complete once more.
So take a seat. Spin Kissing to Be Clever again. And remember: this band was never just about the music. It was about love. Conflict. Healing. Queerness. Rage. Glamour. It was about being seen.
And here in my little neon corner of the internet, they always will be.
