My Commentary
After breaking up 19 years prior, and a disasterous "Culture Club Reborn" era without Roy Hay and Boy George, Culture Club returns -- with all four of them, and suddenly being called "Boy George & Culture Club" -- for an album that says "We've lived. We've hurt. We've healed. And we still look good doing it."
Life is an album about survival. It's George opening his heart like an old diary and telling you every lesson, every scar, and every glittery revelation.
Gone is the synthpop that defined them in the 1980s. In it's place? Grown-up soul. Reflective lyrics. Smooth, aching melodies. Just like with 1999's Don't Mind If I Do, George isn't singing through heartache anymore, he's preaching, reflecting, and serving wisdom on a satin platter.

Each track title links to its own dedicated lyrics page. If a song doesn't have an official set of lyrics, or has multiple versions (because demo versions sometimes have different lyrics, and then we know how George likes to change up lyrics during live performances lol), I'll note that on the individual page.
