He became the face of Culture Club in the early ’80s, bringing queer visibility, glam, and vulnerability to the mainstream in a way the world wasn’t ready for but desperately needed.

After the band’s explosive early success, George navigated addiction, recovery, solo projects, DJ stardom, spirituality, and a thousand reinventions — always returning to the stage with something honest to say.
